You don’t want to miss the Tampa Bay AirFest 2016 at MacDill Air Force Base! The event will take place March 19th-20th with gates opening at 8am and aerial performances starting at 10am. Elevate, Inc. is proud to be one of the sponsors for the long awaited event! Admission and parking are free and all are welcome! AirFest is celebrating 75 years of excellence and the event is expected to draw over 100,000 people each day!
There is so much excitement about this year’s AirFest and we spoke to Terry Montrose, Chief of Community Relations at MacDill, to find out why. “This is going to be the best airshow they’ve ever had at MacDill. They have the best aircrafts the air force has to offer”. With the Thunderbirds, Skytypers, Para-Commandos, and 15 other aerial performers it’s going to be an amazing show.
MacDill has also brought on a team of technicians to provide huge viewing screens in order to stay as close to the action as possible. Terry is excited for the event, “This is the second largest event in the area, after Gasparilla, and it’s completely free. We want moms and dads to bring their kids and let them in and on the aircrafts!”
