PikMyKid Selected to Present at 2016 Early Stage Conference

On May 17, 2016, Florida Venture Forum and its partner, Space Florida, will be hosting the Ninth Annual Florida Early Stage Capital Conference and the Sixth Annual Statewide Collegiate Business Plan Competition. The Florida Venture Forum is a non-profit member organization established in 1984 who’s mission is to provide Florida-based entrepreneurs and private companies working toward significant growth, with educational and networking opportunities. The Florida Venture Forum leads the pack in entrepreneurial and private company investor-networking group in Florida.

PikMyKid is an app developed to improve the efficiency of the school dismissal process and ultimately improving upon children’s safety. Pat Bhava, CEO, Founder, and Developer of PikMyKid has been selected to present at this Conference. The 2016 Early Stage Conference includes companies, which are picked statewide and are in the early stages of development. PikMyKid underwent a rigorous interview process in order to be selected to present, and they will be pitching amongst other versatile Florida-based start-up companies to statewide investors.

The Early Stage Capital Conference will include discussions with an expert panel, special investor networking opportunities, as well as various speakers and presentations from several top entrepreneurial companies in Florida. Presenting companies will be selected by a panel of judges to win $150,000 in prize money provided by Space Florida. The companies selected to win must fit Space Florida’s criteria and contribute to solving real global issues.
