Partnership/Collaboration Opportunities
Cyber Florida offers more than a risk assessment. We have many programs to benefit local governments, schools, and businesses. For those that wish to get involved review the programs offered by Cyber Florida and learn more about how we are working to improve the state and protect against cyber-attacks.
K12 Programs
Currently in 48 Florida school districts teaching safety online, coding and career education, volunteer opportunities and mentoring. We provide training and resources to local schools to deliver this as a career potential for students.
CyberWorks
Is a workforce development program to help fill the critical nationwide cyber workforce shortage by preparing career changers for new roles in cyber defense analysts. This 22-week course is offered through online and hands-on learning curriculum prepares students to enter cybersecurity workforce as a Tier 1 Security Operations Center (SOC) Analysts.
Sunshine Cyber Conference Tampa March 2024
Designed to be education, Sunshine Cyber Conference offers valuable content for cybersecurity/IT/OT practitioners, CIO/CISO, non-technical managers and c-suite leaders, and educators, researchers, and students. Organizations of all sized to include small and medium enterprises, non-profit, state and local governments, law enforcement, and educational institutions are encouraged to participate.
High School Student Cyber Competition
Florida’s first-ever statewide high school cybersecurity competition: Cyber Launch! Is aimed to introduce high school students to the universe of cybersecurity careers through the fun of a statewide competition.
Workshops
Cybersecurity Awareness Exercises takes participants through the steps of a cyber-attack on a day-by-day flow and the outcomes from the various attack vectors based on real world incidents.
Incident Response Planning (IRP) assists planners to begin the development of their own IRP to be completed at your organization and with legal approval. This reviews best practices common topics to be included in an IRP.
