Students and faculty gathered at Nova Southeastern University, in the Moss Family Café, on 12/7 and 12/8 for an impressive holographic display. As the campus was booming with student case presentations, usual study groups and exam preparation—innovative science and technology was also on display. The remarkable demonstration was planned in hour increments, allowing thirty minutes for the demonstration and the remainder for general inquiries from the audience. This event showcased the impressive holography and production use cases at NSU. Viewers had the unique opportunity to learn of holography and observe a live interaction demonstration from a remote presenter from the main campus in Fort Lauderdale! The future of medicine is truly here! Internally developed 3D holographic models allowed viewers to project themselves as a life size hologram in the holographic display right at the NSU Clearwater Tampa Campus! The holographic display showed healthy vs. diseased organs in 3D form allowing an advanced look into specific diseases. This event generated students from an array of NSU colleges and areas of study to the centrally located café—there in their festive holiday attire, the students conversed and studied while waiting for the next presentation time slot.
