USF College of Nursing Chief of Staff Dr. Brittany Sheehy Named to the Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2024

USF College of Nursing Chief of Staff Dr. Brittany Sheehy has been named to the Leadership Tampa Bay Class of 2024, a prestigious leadership program dedicated to fostering excellence and innovation in the local community. 

As one of the select few individuals chosen for this coveted opportunity, Dr. Sheehy is poised to make a significant impact during her tenure in the Leadership Tampa Bay program through her commitment to community development and her passion for making a positive impact.  

We spoke with Brittany on what being selected to Leadership Tampa Bay means to her and she told us “Being accepted into the Class of 2024 Leadership Tampa Bay Program is a tremendous honor for me. I applied to this program because I am driven to be a catalyst for positive change in our community. Through my involvement in the Junior League of Tampa and volunteering at Impact Academy and Feeding Tampa Bay, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of collective action and servant leadership. Leadership Tampa Bay presents an invaluable opportunity to further develop my skills, expand my network, and collaborate with like-minded individuals dedicated to making a lasting difference. I am eager to embrace this journey of growth, learning, and service, and I am committed to contributing my utmost to the advancement of our vibrant Tampa Bay region.” 

The Leadership Tampa Bay program, established by the Tampa Bay Chamber, holds regular meetings, educational sessions, tours, and candid conversations with top-level business, civic, and government leaders to provide members with an interactive and behind-the-scenes look at the region. Topics include education, tourism, the military, economic development, and more.
